Yes, this protects you as well as us. We often get multiple requests for the same time/date, and deposits ensure there will be no disappointments. We will make sure your date is locked in once we receive your deposit via credit card. A 3% credit card fee will be applied.

For private parties, such as birthday parties, the length of time to book the entertainment for is determined by the number of guests you want us to entertain. For the best experience, 1 of our balloon artists can entertain 10-15 kids/guests per hour. This gives your artist time to make the bigger and fancier balloons that we're known for.

For events with big crowds, we can increase the number of artists and reduce the balloon choices & airbrush designs to accommodate more guests. 

We recommend starting the entertainment 15-30 min after the party starts. This allows for late arrivals. But remember to save parking for your entertainer.

We don't wear costumes. However, we will dress "up" for certain occasions, such as the holiday season, weddings, Easter & Halloween. We need to make sure our attire doesn't interfere with our performance. We consider ourselves artists not costumed characters or clowns.

Unfortunately, no. However, we make every effort to match you with the best artist based on specific event details like age group, party theme, event location & availability. While you're welcome to request a particular artist, we may not be able to accommodate your request.

Deposit are paid by credit card only. A 3% credit card fee will apply. Please pay the balance directly to our artist. They accept cash, Venmo, Zelle, etc.  Let us know in advance if you'd like to pay the balance by credit card.  A credit card fee may apply.

Not for private events, such as birthday parties. A booking/management fee may be added for company/corporate events that require extra attention, administration, etc. See here

Yes, we carry Liability coverage. 

Please provide shade if outdoors. If indoors, the area should be up against a wall  and somewhere where the guests can form a line without causing a traffic jam.

Balloon twisting requires full shade and an area of 5’x5’. We bring our own table.

Airbrush Tattoos require full shade, an area of 5’x5’ and within 20 feet of electricity. If your event venue has no electricity, (ie. in a park) We can bring a power supply. Let us know before booking. We bring our own table. Please provide 1 chair.

Selfie booth requires an area of 8’x8’, access to electricity, wifi and full shade. Ideally, the setup should be up against a wall facing outward.

Fill-a-bubble requires an area 6’x6’, full shade and access to electricity. Ideally the setup should be up against a wall so the guest can't go around behind and trip on equipment. 

Face Painting requires a table (approx 4×4 feet of space) and 2 chairs. If your event is in a park a park bench and picnic table will be fine.

For private parties we typically schedule enough time to load-in and be ready to start the entertainment at our scheduled time. (we will always call if we're running behind schedule.)

For corporate events, please let us know when booking if you need us to arrive or be on standby more than 30 minute before our scheduled start time. 

Yes! As long as there is shade for the guests and entertainers. We cannot be in direct sunlight. Direct sunlight is harmful for the equipment and supplies and will make it malfunction. For events in parks and public spaces, permission and permits must be obtained by the hiring party. Parking fees & tolls must be cover by the hiring party.

Yes, we do! There may be a minimum time and/or a travel fee for events outside the South Bay. There is a 2 hour minimum for events north of Los Altos/Mountain View & Milpitas & south of San Jose. Please understand, time spent on the road is less time we can spend entertaining. 

Tipping is very much appreciated but completely up to you.

We do provide services for the select 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations that are close to our hearts. However,  we receive so many requests to sponsor entertainment for charities/fundraisers, that unfortunately, we cannot provide free entertainment for them all. We recommend finding a sponsor to help cover the cost of having us at your event. 

We do not offer refunds for inclement weather. If planning an outdoor event, we recommend having an alternate indoor location as a backup in case of weather issues such as rain, bad air etc. This is especially important during the winter months.

If your child gets sick and you need to reschedule the event, we will transfer your deposit as long as your new date is within 6 weeks of the original date. However, we cannot guarantee the same service or same time will be available.

Cancellation & rescheduling/postponing policy explained. 

Our cancellation/rescheduling policy requires a minimum of 1 week's notice. This allows us to book a replacement event and reschedule the artists accordingly. Once your event is booked and scheduled, we turn down other requests, which may leave the artists out of work if the event is canceled too close to the event date. In such cases, the deposit goes to the artist to compensate for “opportunity loss” and the gap in their schedule. However, if we are able to book a similar event to replace the canceled event, we will gladly return the deposit to you. We understand the importance of fair compensation for artists and the need to manage scheduling and bookings effectively.

By paying the deposit, you have agreed to our terms and conditions outlined herein. Payment for services rendered and/or any remaining balance is due on the day of the event unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties. Cancellations, rescheduling, postponing, changes or reduction in the entertainment time or options, for any reason, including but not limited to COVID or Weather, must be sent by email at least 1 week before the event date. Failure to give 7 days notice will result in the forfeiture of the deposit. The Hiring Organization/Event Host agrees that it understands and knowingly and freely assumes the risks associated with the activities, whether or not expressly described herein. The Hiring Organization/Event Host takes full responsibility for any injuries, legal actions and legal fees and will indemnify and hold harmless South Bay Entertainers, LLC to the fullest extent permitted by Law. 

Choking Hazard! Children under 8 years can choke or suffocate on uninflated or broken balloons. Adult supervision is required. Keep uninflated balloons away from children. Discard broken balloons at once. Latex warning. Made of natural rubber latex, may cause allergies. SMALL PARTS WARNING! CHOKING HAZARD – LED Lights contain a small ball/small parts and are not for children under 4 yrs.
